Forgiving does not erase the bitter past. A healed memory is not a deleted memory. Instead, forgiving what we cannot forget creates a new way to remember. We change the memory of our past into a hope for our future. ~Lewis B. Smedes~
Last 15th of August 2015 (Saturday), one of my friends back in the university, menganjurkan small gathering between her housemates ketika di university dahulu.
Personally, this is my first time meeting with all of my housemates, after graduation dahulu. Bayangkan, sudah berapa tahun tue?
We all semua berkumpul di rumah my friend, Nana, which is located in Ampang. Nana is going to move to Dubai, later this year, untuk follow husband dia yang bekerja di sana, currently. So, she initated this gathering, untuk one last time before flying to Dubai.
It has been a while. Semua pun sudah berkahwin, and basically sudah beranak, as you can see in the pictures. Most of us have never changed in personality-wise.
We all started with makan-makan, laughed at old memories of us together, waktu masih hingusan back in Multimedia University (MMU) Melaka.
Yuzi, my ex-roommate ketika di Emerald Park, our apartment ketika belajar di MMU. Can you believe that she still looks the same, sama seperti masa belajar dahulu? Hahaha, some people will never change…:)
Memang we all bersembang like nobody cares. semua cerita lama disingkap kembali. Hahahah…:) After that, we all bertukar-tukar hadiah among us. Basically, each one of us, kena beli hadiah which is not more than RM50, for pertukaran hadiah.
Too many memories. And hopefully, satu hari nanti, we all dapat berkumpul lagi seperti ini. Who knows, another 5 years maybe? At least, when we are old, we can still smile while looking at these pictures.
It’s great to reminisce about good memories of my past. It was enjoyable when it was today. So learning to enjoy today has two benefits: it gives me happiness right now, and it becomes a good memory later. ~George Foreman~
